Its is now clearer than ever, that through our consumption of fossil fuels we have been and still are having a detrimental effect on the environment, and more specifically the climate. When we burn fuels such as oil and gas, we produce carbon emissions such as carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide acts as an insulator in the atmosphere keeping heat within the atmosphere. The more fossil fuels we burn the more this effect becomes noticeable increased the global temperature over time. To stop this effect, we need to stop increase carbon dioxide emissions, and to do this we can use biomass and wood pellets as fuel.

Biomass, such as wood captures carbon dioxide during growth and then released it during combustion, resulting in no net increase in the levels of carbon in the air. In fact biomass can even be carbon negative, as the ash is an excellent soil conditioner. When we put the ash back into the soil we are taking carbon from the atmosphere and returning it to the soil to be captured.
