For example there is a wide selection of burn pot designs used in pellet stoves. However each design has its advantages and disadvantages performing under combustion results. Each design effects how efficiently the stove can remove ash, and other possible issues such as clinker formations. Other component designs such as the auger feed system can also create issues. Some designs of augers cannot handle a wide range of pellet sizes. The issue is pellet length is constantly changing and some pellet stoves simple block with some pellets.
